About Us

DesignZ by Doodle Quilt Shop is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of
 Freda & Jimmy Yeck, and their family (and those we consider family!).
We started as a drop off and pickup custom quilting/embroidery business at our home in 2012 and named it after our chihuahua Doodle, who loved watching the machines work.
We decided to transition our business into a shop that celebrates all things quilting, embroidery, and other related fiber arts on January 9th 2021!
It's our hope that when you visit our shop, you not only find what you need for your project, but also that you find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that leaves you excited, empowered, and inspired to create!
