Foundation Paper Piecing 101
Learn the basics of Foundation Paper Piecing with Stephanie. This class is for sewists that want to up their quilting game and learn a new technique, or adventurous beginners. We will make a Log Cabin table runner quilt from start to finish: from piecing, to quilting, and binding! You can use the colors in the photo or choose your own. You can even make it scrappy! This is a one part class with homework to be completed prior to class.

Requirements: | -Required:- 1/2 Jelly roll (or 2 contrasting), *or* your choice of 6 different fat quarters *or* 1/4 yard cut fabrics. 1/4 yard border fabric. 1 yard for background and backing. 1/2 yard batting. Sewing machine and all necessary accessories for operation (foot pedal, power cord, etc). Rotary cutter. Pins. 12" Acrylic quilting ruler. Elmer's washable glue stick. Scissors. You will receive an email from the instructor with cutting instructions to be completed prior to the day of the class. -Optional:- 12" Add-a-quarter ruler. Small cutting mat - 14"x14" (rotating is great but not necessary). Seam roller. Wonder clips. |
